I believe healing happens in the context of safe, supportive relationships. Whether you're navigating trauma, early psychosis, relationship challenges, identity development, or major life transitions, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered to grow. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and develop practical tools that help you move toward a life that feels more connected, authentic, and fulfilling.
I work with adolescents, teens, and adults (ages 12+) and have a particular passion for helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate life's most difficult moments together. Whether you're working through conflict with a partner, supporting a loved one experiencing mental health challenges, or hoping to strengthen family relationships, I believe healthier relationships create opportunities for healing, resilience, and growth.
Rather than relying on a single therapy model, I integrate evidence-based approaches to meet each client's needs. My work draws from Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and other trauma-informed approaches. Together, we'll build practical skills, deepen insight, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.
As a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), I place particular emphasis on the connection between the mind and body. Trauma, chronic stress, and difficult life experiences often become held within our nervous system, shaping how we respond to the world long after the original experience has passed. Through somatic work, I help clients strengthen nervous system regulation, restore a sense of safety, process traumatic experiences, and build greater resilience and self-compassion.
One of my primary areas of expertise is supporting individuals and families affected by early psychosis and clinical high-risk symptoms. Through my clinical work and research, I have developed advanced experience supporting people navigating unusual thoughts, perceptions, or experiences, changes in functioning, and the uncertainty that can accompany emerging psychosis. I integrate Compassion-Focused Therapy for Psychosis (CFTp), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Trauma-Integrated CBT for Psychosis (TI-CBTp), and family-centered approaches to help individuals reduce distress, maintain connection to their goals and identity, and strengthen relationships with the people who matter most. I also enjoy working with parents, partners, siblings, and other loved ones to better understand psychosis, strengthen communication, and learn practical ways to provide compassionate, effective support.
I am especially passionate about working with neurodivergent, gifted, LGBTQIA+ individuals as well as people living with disabilities and individuals managing chronic illness. I strive to create an affirming therapeutic space where every aspect of your identity is welcomed and respected. Together, we'll work toward helping you move through the world in ways that feel authentic, values-aligned, and sustainable.
Alongside my work at Palim Health, I am a Doctoral Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Nevada, Reno, and serve as a Clinical Research Specialist in Early Psychosis and Clinical High-Risk Syndromes at the University of California, San Francisco. Remaining actively involved in both clinical research and direct client care allows me to bring current evidence, specialized expertise, and thoughtful curiosity to every client I work with.
As I work toward independent licensure, I receive ongoing clinical supervision from Dr. Connor Adams. I also participate in regular consultation within the Palim Health team, ensuring clients benefit from collaborative thinking and thoughtful, high-quality care.
