Care that honors your whole story.

Specialized therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout California.

At Palim Health, we provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families in person and through secure telehealth throughout California.

Our clinicians specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship concerns, psychosis, and other complex mental health conditions. We tailor therapy to each person's unique goals, strengths, and life experiences, helping people create meaningful and lasting change.

Why Palim Health?

Palim Health takes its name from the word palimpsest—a manuscript that has been written on, erased, and written on again. Though earlier writing may fade, traces remain, shaping what comes next.

Human lives unfold in much the same way. Our lives are not blank pages—we carry experiences, relationships, and stories that have shaped us—sometimes in ways we may not fully recognize. At Palim Health, we believe that in therapy, we do not erase the past; instead, we learn to understand it, integrate it, and gradually write new chapters.

Healing is not about starting over, but about building something new upon the pages that already exist. We intentionally maintain a practice centered on specialized expertise, collaboration, and individualized care. Together, we can work to rewrite patterns that no longer serve you while honoring the experiences that shaped who you are.

Families

We provide both traditional family therapy and family education sessions. Family therapy brings everyone together to work on the dynamics keeping you stuck. Family education sessions focus more on providing information, such as for families who have a loved one who has recently received a psychosis-related diagnosis.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly. This allows us greater flexibility to provide individualized, confidential care without the limitations often imposed by insurance companies.

How can I use out-of-network benefits?

Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network therapy. We recommend contacting your insurance company to ask about your mental health benefits, deductible, and reimbursement rates. We are happy to provide the documentation needed to submit claims.
