Practice Founder, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Seeking therapy often means you're carrying something that has become difficult to navigate alone. Whether you're recovering from trauma, feeling stuck in painful relationship patterns, learning new ways to cope with overwhelming emotions, or making sense of experiences related to psychosis, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, challenged, and supported as you build meaningful and lasting change.

I work with adults (18+) seeking support for trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, psychosis, anxiety, emotion regulation, and coping with life's many challenges. I believe therapy should be deeply individualized—grounded not only in evidence-based practices, but also in your unique experiences, relationships, values, and goals.

Rather than approaching every client through a single therapy model, I draw from multiple evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches to tailor treatment to your needs. My work integrates skills-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused treatments including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. This flexibility allows us to work together in a way that fits you, rather than expecting you to fit a particular model of therapy.

People often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I strive to help clients leave therapy feeling both understood and empowered—developing not only greater insight into themselves and their relationships, but also practical skills that support meaningful change in everyday life. Some sessions may focus on learning new strategies for managing difficult emotions or navigating relationships, while others involve exploring longstanding patterns and experiences that continue to shape how you see yourself and the world. Throughout the process, we'll work together to better understand what's happening, identify meaningful goals, and create lasting change.

Alongside my work at Palim Health, I am a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University, where I provide clinical services in the Comprehensive DBT Clinic, the INSPIRE Clinic for individuals experiencing psychosis, and the Women's Wellness Clinic. Throughout my career, I have worked across outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and psychiatric inpatient settings. This breadth of experience allows me to support individuals with both common and complex mental health concerns while tailoring care to each person's unique needs.

Teaching and training have always been an important part of my professional life. I founded Palim Health as a collaborative practice built on ongoing learning, consultation, and clinical excellence. I provide supervision and consultation to the therapists within my practice so that we continually learn from one another and provide thoughtful, high-quality care to every client we serve.
